Halloween was a lot of fun this year! It's so much funner when you have a kid to dress up. I can't wait until next year when he can actually walk and go door to door. I was a bee, Collin was a warewolf, and Jayden was a pumpkin this year! We went trick or treating with my sister and her kids. It was a lot of fun to see Ty and KJ run to each door. KJ was trying so hard to keep up with Ty and his other friends he went with. It was so cute! It was a lot of fun and we got some cute pictures! Hope your guys Halloween was fun also! Oh and I was going to ask if any of you have had trouble with your background for your blog? When I pull my blog up the background wont show up and I can't even see the text or anything. So I can't get on to see anybody else blog cause I can't see where to click! It's really annoying. I tried to delete it and put a new background in but it wont work! If any of you have had this problem or a suggestion please let me know. Thanks!

It's been a long time since I last posted anything so I thought I would do an update real quick while Jayden is napping! Jayden is 3 months old now and doing good! Time goes by so fast when your busy. Jay is sleeping through the nights every now and then and other nights he can be a little stinker! Hopefully he will start to get on a good schedule. He is smiling all the time now and is lifting his head up pretty good. When he's on his back he will scrunch up like hes doing an ab workout and lift his head. haha. He's a pretty strong boy and hes very active. He is a ton of fun to be around! Especially now that he can actually see us and smile. There are definitely hard days though. Being a mom is hard and takes A LOT of patience. I am learning a lot. It is sooo worth it though. Well I will try harder to keep my blog updated better hopefully!

Jayden is finally here and has been for 2 weeks now! It just took me forever to post it! Babies sure keep you busy and occupied. Jayden arrived on June 8th at 1:07 a.m. He was 8 lbs. 12 oz and 21 inches long! He was a pretty big boy! My labor went really well. On june 7th I went to the doctor for a check and I was still stuck at a 3 so I was pretty bummed out cause here I was at the doctor on my due date and I was still at a 3! Well the doctor must have done something cause I went into labor that night around 5 p.m. Went to the hospital and I was dialated to a 4 plus. I was so happy it wasnt a false labor! As soon as the contractions were getting a little uncomfortable I told her to get an epidural in me! ha. Epidurals are amazing! I wouldn't do it any other way. Labor was so fun for me. I prob did like 8 sets of pushes and he was out. It was the most amazing experience ever. Collin did really well. I thought he would maybe get a little sick but he was all about it! We are so grateful that he is here and that he is healthy and strong. I never knew how hard it is to take care of a baby but its soo worth it! We love this little guy to death. He came out with tons of blonde hair! All the nurses said its unusual to get a baby with blonde hair! So anytime someone sees him we know they will comment on his hair. haha. It's one of my favorite parts about him. Well here is some pictures finally! Sorry it has taken me so long to post!

I can't believe the moment is almost here! My due date is actually June 7th instead of June 5th. I swear my doctor said the 5th but I asked him the other day and he said it was actually the 7th. Oh well at least it's not that big of change! I am so excited to get this baby boy out and to hold him in my arms. These last 3 weeks have seemed like eternity and I am soo ready. I have probably had my hospital bag packed and ready to go for a month! haha. Its starting to collect dust! I went to the doctor Friday and he said I was dialated to a 3 and like 80 percent effaced. I could be stuck at a 3 forever though. I have learned to not get to excited cause things could stay exactly where they are for quite a while. He stripped my membranes to hopefully help labor come along. So I could really have this baby at any time and then he could be overdo. You just don't know and I hate that! Ha. I think I have learned a ton of patience being pregnant. If I have learned anything it's to not get to excited and think you might have the baby early. I have given my hopes up a ton of times doing that! Instead I am just looking forward to my actual due date. So that is the latest with me! I will try to keep you updated as best I can!

If you can't tell I am getting really anxious to get this baby boy out! I went to the Dr. today and with high hopes I was thinking it would be great if I was dialated to a 3 or more. Or of course the Dr. telling me he could maybe come this weekend or something. Well I am only dialated to a 2. Which is still pretty good! At least it's progressing every time I go. I am also thinned out more which is good. The Dr. said this is really good for being a 1st time mom. So I just need to be patient! I figure that Jayden will come when he is ready and I just have to wait it out. My sister came about 2 weeks early with her kids and my mom came early with us to so I was hoping I could maybe have the chance of coming early to! My sister told me today to enjoy these last 2 weeks because once they are here sometimes you want to put them back in! Haha. Isn't that the truth? I think it's hard being pregnant but once they are here and you have this little baby to care for it's going to be a lot harder. But so worth it! Of course I want him here asap but I am going to really try and enjoy these last 2 weeks. Anyways I go to the Dr. again next Friday so I will keep you updated!

3 More Weeks!

So I have 3 more weeks until my due date which is June 5th! I have to admit though that this last month is seeming to go by sooo slow! It's probably because I am crossing off every day that goes by on my calendar and pretty much counting down the hours until June 5th! Haha. I need to find a big hobby that I could do or something so time will go faster. Any ideas??? I am hoping for Jayden to come at least a week early but I kind of have a feeling that he wont! We will see though. I went to the doctor today and I am dialated to a 1 and a half and a little more thinned out then I was last time, which was 50 to 60 percent. Everything seems to be going great though! My doctor says he thinks Jayden is about 7 pounds already! If he keeps gaining that half pound that they do every week I could be in trouble! Haha. It would be crazy to have a 9 pound baby! I'm guessing he will weigh somewhere high in the 8's. We will see....Well the next time I write I might already have a baby! If not I will try to keep you updated!

You guys are such great friends and it was so good to catch up and visit with some people I haven't seen in forever! 7 Months & Jayden's Room!

So I am finally 7 months now! I hope time will go by a lot faster now that I am in my last trimester. I think once April is here it will really hit me! I am getting to that point where I can't fall asleep at nights cause all I can think about is birth and how I hope everything will go OK! I am also very excited though. probably more excited then scared! Anyways, I have been meaning to post pics of Jayden's room for a while even though we are not fully finished with it yet! We got the crib and changing table over spring break so we got that all put together pretty fast since we were both off! The black hutch I got from my sister's mother in law for $20! I got pretty lucky with that! The cute pillow that say's Jayden's name on it is what Collin's mom made! She is sooo crafty and has been spoiling Jayden already. It's her 1st grand baby to so she said of course she is going to spoil him:) The giraffe hamper we found at T.J. Max for like $30. I just had to get it! Collin is painting the grass on the wall right now even though we aren't supposed to paint in our apartment! haha! We just figure we can paint white over it when we have to move. So shhh don't tell! haha. Collin isn't done with the grass yet but getting close. We are planning on getting this cute monkey decal swinging from a branch and putting it over the polka dot bed in his room. So I will have to post more pics when the room is finally complete! This is the funnest part for me. I love to decorate! I hope it all turns out the way I planned! Let me know what you guys think!

Happy late valentines to everyone! Collin and I had a pretty good one. We celebrated it on Saturday and we just chilled together all day and then we went and ate at Olive Garden and came back to our house and chilled some more! It was kind of nice to not really do a whole lot and just hang out with each other! We never get to spend time with each other except for on Saturdays so we cherish our Saturday's together a ton. Collin surprised me with flowers, dove chocolate, a teddy bear, and a HUGE balloon! Oh and he drew me a cute little valentine card. Ha. He is such a sweetheart and I love him tons! It was a great day. I hope you guys all had a GREAT valentines to!

6 Months Pregnant!

Here I am at 6 months! Well it will be 6 months on Saturday! It felt like I was at 5 months forever. Now I'm on my last month in the 2nd trimester. I can't believe I only have 4 months left and then our little guy will be here! I have been pretty busy getting Jayden's(that is the name we decided!) room all decorated and stuff. The crib and changing table wont be here til March but I already have the bedding and everything. It's definitely exciting. I feel him move all the time now. Collin got to feel him kick like 4 times in a row. Every time I feel a kick I'm reminded of what a miracle it is! It's kind of weird to think there is someone in there to! Crazy! I'm excited to be a mom and hope I do a good job at it!

I'm Having A Baby.....

BOY!!!! Yay! We are so excited! I went to the Doctor on Tuesday for the usual heartbeat check and all that. I am 18 weeks at this point and I was thinking the doctor would make me wait until 20 weeks to find out what I'm having. But to my surprise he said well your 18 weeks so we can schedule the ultrasound for you this week! I was so excited and so surprised! So we scheduled it for the very next day. It was the most amazing experience. It was so fun to actually see everything! I will definitely put pictures up soon of the ultrasound. I am so excited to start decorating the room and start nesting:). I feel so blessed and we are so excited to bring this baby boy into the world!!!

PTA Program!

So today my husband and I found out that he got into the Physical Therapy Assistant Program! We weren't supposed to find out until sometime next week but the lady was really nice and told him she thought he would like to know earlier in an e-mail he got! It was the biggest relief ever. We were praying and hoping he would get in. The timing worked out perfect to because he has no more classes he can take towards his degree at Dixie State. So we were thinking if he doesn't get into the PTA Program he might have to start classes at SUU. We are so happy that Dixie State finally got this program and now we can stay here for at least 2 more years! After that he wants to keep working his way up to become an actual PT. So that is many years down the rode but this is a great start! I feel like we have been truly blessed and that the timing was totally right for this. Especially now that we have a baby on the way. I feel secure and know that Collin will have a great job that will help support me and the baby! Life couldn't be greater and we are so thankful for our many blessings!

14th Week Appointment!

So today I had my 14th week Appointment and it went good! This was the first time I actually got to hear the heartbeat! The doctor found it pretty fast. I was nervous I wasn't going to be able to hear it again so when I heard that little heartbeat I was so relieved! The doctor said everything looks great. The heartbeat was 145bpm. I have even gained 3 pounds! haha. My belly is starting to pop out more but I'm thinking I probably won't really show until about 6 months. I will post a picture of my belly soon! I have been meaning to post one just haven't had the time. My next appointment is Janurary 5th and then the doc is going to schedule an ultrasound so I can find out what the sex is! I am soooo dang excited for that! I thought I was going to find out sooner but I'm just going to have to wait!

10 Week Appointment!

Today I went to the Dr. for my 10 week appointment! I was so excited to hear the little heartbeat! So the Dr. came in and got the little heartbeat ultrasound and started rubbing it on my tummy. Some time goes by and we couldn't hear anything! I was getting a little scared at this point. So the Dr. tried something else and then did the ultrasound again and still nothing! He told me to get dressed and that he would do the ultrasound to where you can actually see the baby. He said I would be able to see the flutter of the heart. He didn't want me to go home worrying! So I got dressed and of course at this point I am freaking myself out thinking that maybe there really isn't a baby and that I am going to miscarry or something. So I was about in tears! Thank goodness Collin was with me trying to comfort me. We waited for probably like 15 minutes which seemed like an hour and he finally came in. What a relief! I could see the uterus and the baby inside! I could see the little heart beating and I got to see his/her arms and legs move! It was the most amazing thing. The Dr. said everything looks great! Of course I stressed over nothing! The Dr. said because I'm tall that my uterus is far back under my pelvic bone which makes it harder to hear the heart beat. He said sometimes you can't hear the heart until like 12 weeks. So even though I didn't get to actually hear the heart beat I did get to see the heart and the baby! So I kind of feel lucky in that way. The Dr. said I will find out the sex of it a couple days after new years! I am way excited for that! My next appt. is December 8th. So I will keep you guys updated!

So I was just thinking that I need to be more grateful towards my family and friends for being so kind and happy for me about my pregnancy! Not only have most of you congratulated me but you also ask how I am feeling and doing! I have found myself complaining a lot about being sick or whatever and I just have to remind myself to shutup and be grateful for what I have! What a blessing! I seriously don't know what I would do without family. I am pretty blessed to have my sister and her husband here but also Collin's family. Collin's mom is always making sure I have everything I need! She is great! I wish my mom could be here but I am glad I can always call her if I need advice or questions and concerns! And to all my friends, you guys are all great! Thanks for being so excited for me. It shows you really do care! You guys make me want to be a better person and be like that. And finally thanks to my husband! I could not handle all of this without him. He is such a sweetheart. He is always getting me what I need and asking me what he can do. He always gets me something to eat in the morning so I can sit in bed and eat without throwing up. I am sure all of your husbands do the same thing! Sometimes when you can't stand them you just have to think how could you live without them! ha. Well I just felt like saying thanks to everyone! Your the best!

5 Weeks Pregnant!!!!

Ok I know I haven't updated my blog in like 3 months but I never had anything exciting to blog about! Either that or I am just super busy and lazy! ha. Anyways this past Saturday I found out that I am pregnant! For those of you who knew I had just started taking Clomid to help me ovulate more and get my periods regular. So I started taking it on the 3rd day of my cycle last month. Well I started to feel gaggy a little and I wasn't planning on taking the test until like today but my wonderful sister begged me to just take it Saturday because she had a feeling I was! So I gave in and took it. I peed on the stick and within like 30 seconds the test came up when it usually takes like 3 minutes! I looked up and it said PREGNANT! I swear I must have looked at it like 50 times to make sure! I yelled Collins name and he came rushing in and I said we are pregnant! He started to cry and gave me the biggest hug! It was a tender moment. My mom came down yesterday so I decided to wait and surprise her with it. It was the hardest thing keeping the good news from her! Yesterday I tied balloons that said its a girl and one that said its a boy and I put baby clothes over the bed. I took her to the room and opened the door and she was shocked! She also started to cry! It was all worth it in the end. I went to the doctor Monday and I am 5 weeks along and due somewhere around June 7th! I feel so blessed! Me and Collin are super excited to start our own family. My next appointment is November 10th and by that time I will be able to hear the heart beat! I will try my best to keep my blog updated! So exciting!

Me and Collin were very lucky to be able to go to Florida this past week! Our friends Ryan and Ruth invited us to go with them and stay in Ruth's parent's house/condo at Summer Bay. We didn't have to pay anything to stay for a whole week! There would have been no way we could have gone to Florida if we had to pay to stay so it worked out awesome! Thanks Ryan and Ruth! We all had a blast! We went to Sea World, the beach, an air boat ride, dinner and show, went on the worlds tallest sky coaster and almost peed my pants! ha. Then we just enjoyed being lazy! Collin served his mission in Florida so he got to see a lot of the families and his companion! One of the families is in the pics and his companion is also. It was cool to meet them! It was such a fun vacation but I am glad to be out of the humidity and back in the dry desert!

So I just had to post this because Brett is probably the cutest downs I have ever met! This was the last day of school for the post high kids until next year so I brought my camera! This was Brett's last year at Post High! We are all so very sad because he was like our favorite kid! He did the funniest things and made us all crack up all the time every day. We never just called him Brett. We always call him Bretty Boo Boop or just Boo Boop. I think Julie(the other girl in the picture with Brett) came up with it? Ha. I'm not sure but it's hilarious. It's one of those things where you have to be there to get the whole jist of it. Brett always called me Banana. I'm pretty sure it's because he couldn't really say my name. ha. Or he would call me Belle off Beauty and the Beast and he would call Julie Chip the teapot off Beauty and the Beast to. haha. He is the funniest kid ever. We are all going to miss him tons!!!

2 Year Anniversary!!!

So this past Tuesday on May 12th was our 2 year anniversary! I really can't believe that it has been 2 years already. It has been a great 2 years though! Of course there has been struggles here and there but you learn and grow from them and it makes you appreciate and love each other even more! On Tuesday we had reservations at the Anasazi Steakhouse. It was delicious!!! It was pretty expensive but sooo worth it! It was one of those places where they bring out your meat on a hot lava stone and you cook your meat to how you like it. They also have fondue's there which was my favorite part! It was awesome. After dinner we went to a movie and then Collin had a big surprise for me! He got a one nights stay at a place called " Eden's Keep" a romantic getaway. I just have to say that it was probably the most amazing and romantic room ever! Once you see the pictures you will see what I mean! It is located in Washington by the old dance factory and Staheli's catering. It is kind of a big secret because nobody really knows about it. It is a family owned business and they only have that one room for now. So when we pulled up in our car it kind of looked like a little shack. I know that sounds bad! ha. But once Collin opened the door, WOW! The room is kind of like a cave theme. So we walked in and to the right was a little kitchen area and then there was a bucket with sparkling cider and 2 glasses. Then I looked down and there was rose petals leading down the hallway. So we turned the corner and there was a huge tin bathtub and a huge king size bed and a massage table! There was a big screen TV that rolled up out of the rock. They had a surround sound system in there so you could hook up your I Pod for some romantic music. They had 2 robes and slippers for both of us. They had fresh fruit and muffins for the morning along with our favorite drinks. The shower was awesome! They had a huge shower head that was so High so when you turned it on it was like it was raining! Oh and they had a little spot where fog would come out and would change colors. You could set the lighting in there to romantic and they had a huge tree with those sparkling lights in it. I think that is pretty much all the details! I am only telling all the details because I think everyone needs to experience this room! If you want to look at pictures just type in Eden's Keep a romantic getaway in google and you will see even better pictures! So our stay was AWESOME! Collin did such a good job surprising me! I am so happy he is my husband and I love him very much!

This past weekend Collin and I went up North for two weddings! Collin's aunt was getting married and then my good friend Shanna got married. It was a blast! It was so good to see Collin's aunt get married. She is such an amazing woman and deserved the best! I have never seen her more happy. Shanna and I played College volleyball together at Dixie State. We became really close friends and did everything together! We had some good times! I am so happy for her as well. It's such a neat experience to be in the sealing room and watch someone else besides yourself get married. It helps you remember the day you were in their seat and the feelings you had. I love it! This weekend we have to go up North again for my cousin's wedding. I can't believe how many people get married in the spring time. Collin and I will have been to 5 weddings within 2 months! It's pretty crazy but it is also so fun to see people you love so happy!

David Archuleta!!!

Tuesday night Collin and I went to the David Archuleta concert! Collin felt a little weird because he was pretty much the only guy there! There were a few others but he was surrounded by 12 year old girls who could scream! I wanted him to come so he agreed and he actually ended up liking it. He had never been to a concert before so it was good for him! The tickets were only $25 a person and David was performing here in St. George at the Burns Arena so I decided what the heck! Plus I love David's songs! he did an amazing job! He has the best voice ever. He performs awesome live which is unusual for most. Collin and I were able to get floor seats. We were in row O which was pretty much in the middle. So we got pretty good seats. I was able to go up the row to and get some close up pics of him! I was prob like 7 feet from the stage. Maybe farther? I dont know but I was so excited to get some good shots of him. It was pretty packed and so LOUD! My ears were ringing all night after. Collin ended up plugging his ears almost the whole night! Girls were going crazy! David is such a sincere guy. I have never met him but if you watched him on American Idol you would know that he is the nicest guy ever! I hope he stays that way and hope fame doesn't get to him to much! I don't think it will but you never know! Anyways we had a blast and it was amazing! Sorry the sounds on the videos aren't that great!

Well I finally got my camera fixed so I can start putting pictures up again! As you can tell by the thousand pictures I put up my beautiful niece was finally born on March 11 at 4 a.m! She weighed 7 pounds 1 ounce and was 19 inches long. She has a ton of dark hair and beautiful tan skin! I got to be in the room when Britt was giving birth. It was the most amazing experience! I thought I might be freaked out but I wasn't! Everything was so...interesting I guess you could say! The only part that freaked me out was when Britt couldn't really breathe. She had Kiersten NATURAL! Can you believe that? She is a tough one. She was in a lot of pain and there was nothing I could do, so I felt really bad. Kiersten was Posterior(don't know if I spelled that right) so they had Britt get on her hands and knees so KJ would flip. Britt felt her finally flip and that's when the contractions hit really hard. From then on it was kind of scary! I am never going to have mine natural! I am such a baby with pain so I wouldn't last. Britt said she felt like she wanted to die. ha. But she did it and I am so proud of her! She was a champ. She only gave about 3 pushes and KJ was here. The doctor came just in time to. Britt was screaming that she felt she had to push and the doc wasn't even there yet! Scary huh? He finally showed up like 5 minutes after she said that. Anyways she made it through and KJ is a beautiful healthy baby! Seeing all of that really is getting me baby hungry! Me and Collin are trying so we will see what happens!

Ok I have been so horrible at keeping up with my blog! I guess me and my husband just live boring lives! haha. That is probably the main reason but our camera is not working so it's no fun to just write with no pictures! Well there hasn't really been anything to exciting in our lives. Collin is going to school and taking 16 credits and also working for a company called Daily Bread. If anyone ever needs food storage let me know and I will hook you up! It's freeze dried foods and all you have to do is add 1 cup of water and you have your meal! They are actually pretty dang good! They have lasagna, beef stew, chicken Teriyaki with rice, and so on. It really is the bomb! Anyways that is what Collin sells. I am still just working my 2 jobs. I am still at Post High with special ed and then I am still at the Daycare. I love my jobs! I have been wanting to go to either dental assistant school or CNA school. We have to have some money for that though so we are trying to work things out! Collin recently got a a really awesome job opportunity illustrating a children's book. He is taking an animation class right now and the teacher new someone that needed help! So he got her phone number and called her. She is almost done writing the book and then she is going to call him! So I hope she keeps her word and does call cause we could definitely use the money! Plus it would be an awesome experience. Collin is an awesome drawer! Other than that life is flying by! My sister is about to have her 2nd child. So now I will have a niece and I am so excited! It is making me baby hungry! Well I hope I didn't bore the heck out of everyone! I am going to try to get my camera fixed soon so I can put pics up!

My little brother was in a bra because we were playing the game "what if" and he had to put a bra on for one of the challenges. haha. It was pretty dang funny! Believe it or not this is St. George! This was the morning after it snowed all day and night. I looked out the window and it was a winter wonderland! It was so beautiful. It actually stuck to the ground for like a day and a half then most of it melted. But we enjoyed it while it lasted! It really set the mood for Christmas. I Loved it!!!!

Today it has been snowing in St. George all day! Can you believe it? The snow doesn't stick and the flakes are pretty small but it still snowed! I love it. I love the feeling of Christmas and why we celebrate it. I love driving around town with my hubby and looking at all the beautiful lights! I love walking around the temple with hot chocolate and looking at the lights there. Nothing could be more beautiful! I also love decorating our town home and making it feel warm and cozy. Ok I know I am way late on putting Thanksgiving pictures up but my camera died on me so I had to use my mother in-laws and I just barely got the camera from her lastnight! So that is why it has taken me soooo long! Anyways, I had a great Thanksgiving! We went to Escalante where Collin grew up. If you are wondering where the heck that is, it's about an hour outside of Panguitch... I think. ha. It was a really short trip because we went up early Thursday morning and then came back Thanksgiving night. It was a great trip though! The food was amazing. We had the dinner at Collin's grandparents house. It was freezing up there. If you can see in some of the pictures there was snow on the ground. They were huge flakes to! It was pretty cool. I always love going to Escalante because it is such a small town! It's smaller than Moapa if you can believe that! His grandparents have horses and huge alfalfa fields. It is gorgeous out there. It's very peaceful and calming. Anyways, that is my Thanksgiving. I hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving also!

This is me, Britt, and my cousin Becky! We went to Mesquite to hang out and have a BBQ with her and her cute family. We haven't seen her in forever and we all got a hold of each other through facebook. I love facebook for that reason! You can find anyone on there, I love it! We had such a blast hanging out. It was like back in the day when we all used to play together. The husbands all hung out and played the wii and the wives got to catch up on what has been going on in our lives. It was great!

DHHS Volleyball Team

Our varsity volleyball team got to go to state last weekend! It was held up north at the U.V.U. in the David O Mckay building. We left on a Thursday early in the morning and they had there first game at 4:30 p.m. We played Grantsville and played awesome the first two matches but then lost the next three. Then we played Park City at 7:45 p.m. We ended up losing to them but they still played awesome! Even though we lost I was proud of the girls! This is a brand new school and it was there first year in volleyball. So for being a new program I think they had a really good season! It has been an awesome experience coaching for the first time. I love it! Sometimes I find myself wanting to play with the girls rather than coaching! It's fun to see when the girls improve and you know you were a part of that though. I think next year we are going to have an awesome team. We have some amazing freshmen! So the future for DHHS volleyball is looking good! Oh and this picture Is not the best of them. This was right before our last game so everyone was just trying to get pictures as fast as they could! They are awesome!

Haunted House!

On Halloween night my family and I went to Vegas to my brother's in-laws house. Last Halloween my brother started a Haunted House at his in-laws. They did it again this year and it was awesome! They went all out! This year they made about 1,900 and they donated it to the Boy Scouts of America. Channel 8 News came and filmed the outside of it and interviewed people that went through. They said it was the best haunted house in town! So that was really awesome. Most of us got to be in the haunted house. I was the "ring girl." You know that movie right? The one where she crawls out of the well. It was so fun to scare people! Collin got to be Michael Myers. We both had a blast. At the end of the haunted house someone comes out with a chainsaw and chases you. It was hilarious to see grown men sprinting out of there! It was a fun way to spend Halloween! My Two Little Nephews

So I haven't taken any pictures lately at all so I never have anything to post or share! Plus we have been super busy that we never do anything fun! So I was just going through my pics and thought I would post my two nephews. Ty is 2 years old and he is a handful! He is the funniest kid ever! Doesn't he look like Michael? This pic was a while back so he looks even older now. He is tons of fun to be around. Then there is Brax and he is 1 year old. He is Brian's baby. He has the biggest smile ever! He is a real love bug, which I love! I am not around him quite as much as I am with Ty because he lives in Vegas. Brax is definately more shy than Ty! I think Ty got Britt's outgoing crazy personality. ha. So being around them makes me want to have a baby more and more! Plus I work in the nursery at church and that makes it even worse. They say being in the nursery is like birth control. ha. But for me it's the other way! It makes me want to have one. Then I see how all you guys have cute babies and are so happy! Collin wants to have one really bad. Our original plan was to start trying this month but I think we are going to wait until the summer. But who knows! Our minds change all the time! So we will see what happens!

But please don't ever do it again you turd! So for all my great friends that left comments and stuck up for me THANKS! My brother-in-law likes to play jokes and get reactions out of me. He thinks it is fun! ha. So he was the anonymous commenter. I guess he was bored one night doing his homework on the computer and came across my blog and thought it would be funny. What a turd. We Love Volleyball!

So me and my sister Britt played our second outdoor volleyball tournament. It is the funnest thing ever! Anything that has to do with volleyball we are down! So the morning before we started to play Britt called and said that she was throwing up. Of all days she had to be throwing up! I guess I can give her some slack though because she is pregnant. About 4 months. Anyways she was a trooper and still came to give it a shot. When she started to play she felt fine. But when she stopped she started to feel sick. Weird I know. So she was sick plus it was like 50 degrees and windy. it was freezing! I got to a point where I couldn't feel anything. I guess if you love volleyball though you will go through anything! ha. Despite the sickness and the freezing cold we managed to pull through and take 1st. We each got a $35 gift card to Big Five and a free entry for the next tournament. If any of you like to play volleyball I would really suggest trying it. it is so fun!

Here's Our Story

Here is the story of how Collin and I met. Me and my good friend Shanna King went to a family home evening activity for the Dixie State College ward. I really did not want to go because I had a ton of homework. Well Shanna told me there was going to be food, so how could I turn down that? I finally gave in and we went. While we were eating our food I overheard Collin talking to someone about his mission. The only reason I was kind of eavesdropping was because I heard him mention Orlando, Florida. My brother Brennan at the time had just left on his mission for the same destination. So I was really wondering if Collin had crossed paths with him or got to meet him. Shanna kept telling me to go talk to him, but I get a little shy sometimes. She on the other hand is a really fun and outgoing person so she pretty much dragged me over to him. So I finally asked him about the mission and if he met my brother. Unfortunately he did not. Brennan was going out as Collin was coming home. Brennan did serve in all the same areas though. Well Collin ended up getting mine and Shanna's number. I thought for sure he would call Shanna because she is such a fun and beautiful girl. Shanna and I ended up inviting him to come play volleyball with us one night. He showed up and by the end of the night when I was about to leave he came up to me and asked me if I would go on a date with him! I was surprised and excited! So we went on our first date and then from there on we saw each other every day! We dated for 4 months and then he proposed, got married 4 months later in the Saint George Temple on May 12, 2007. So there is a little about us for starters. I am still trying to get used to this blog thing so stick with me!
